Her education also includes nutrition, botanical medicine, manual therapies, Mayan Healing, Somatic Experiencing and the healing philosophy of Catholic Saint Hildegard Von Bingen.

St Hildegard's healing philosophy, Viriditas, has origins in the union of two Latin words: Green and Truth. For Hildegard' the spiritual aspects of healing

were just as essential as the physical. In much of her work, viriditas was “the greening power of God.” which she taught is in everything, including humans. This “greenness” was an expression of heaven, the creative power of life, which can be witnessed in the gardens, forests, and farmland all around us. And like those lands, she saw viriditas as something to be cultivated in both our bodies and our souls.

Her French-Abenaki heritage has lead her to work with indigenous healers in Mexico, Central America, the southwest United States, New England and Canada with whom she experienced the heart of native healing.

Sparrow is currently studying for a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) and spagyrics, an ancient way to grow and prepare botanical medicine. She lives on an off-grid homestead in Southern Vermont with her family.
